OUR TEAM HAS MADE SOME IMPORTANT STEPS TOWARDS THE FUTURE. AS OF NEXT SEASON, CCC SHOES AND BAGS WILL BE THE NEW MAIN PARTNER. THERE IS AN AGREEMENT FOR THREE YEARS, WITH AN OPTION FOR ANOTHER TWO YEARS. “WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS DEVELOPMENT. THIS ENABLES US TO EVEN FURTHER PROFESSIONALISE AND TO FULFIL BIG SPORTIVE AMBITIONS”, SAYS TEAM MANAGER ERIC VAN DEN BOOM.
“We get a Polish sponsor and namesake, but we keep our identity and structure which has proven to be successful in women’s cycling for many years. While the roots of the team stay in fertile, Dutch soil, the team will get an international character with a mixture of top riders and upcoming talents, something which made the team great. At this moment, contract negotiations are in the final stages.”
SAME LOOK AND FEELAS THE MEN’S TEAM
It was already earlier communicated that CCC would be active as of 2019 at the WorldTour-level with the men’s team. Team manager Van den Boom: “Our team will basically become the women’s branch. The look and feelof both will be identical. Synergies will be created wherever possible. We still have to work out how to fully benefit from each other. In the time ahead, we will discuss the possibilities with our new colleagues.”
WAOWDEALS
WaowDeals has been the team’s namesake this season. The switch to CCC does not mean in the least that the company WaowDeals will disappear from the stage. At this moment, we are considering how the cooperation can continue in 2019. This also applies for other partners who have always been loyal to the team. The team management will announce any new information as it becomes available.
